Torah Scrolls Make Aliyah After Restoration
Two restored Torah scrolls from the Holocaust were donated to an IDF base near Tel Aviv through the IYIM Torah Warrior Program, which provides Israeli soldiers with Torah scrolls to enrich their spiritual lives and motivation.
The Torahs were donated as part of a special community program by the Sons of Israel Congregation in Cherry Hill, New Jersey.
The National Council of Young Israel, led by Rabbi Pesach Lerner and the International Young Israel Movement’s Israel region donated restored Torah scrolls to IDF bases.
