Swords of Iron Emergency Campaign

Program Overview

Supporting Our Soldiers

In response to the horrific events of October 7th, and the subsequent ongoing conflict, YII has embarked upon a number of crucial initiatives in order to provide support to those most affected by the massacre and current war. Please help us spread the word and contribute generously to enable us to continue these important initiatives.

Kiddush for our Chayalim

In partnership with Hillel’s Heimishe Herring, YI Israel helps arrange for Shabbat Kiddush to be sent to bases across Israel, giving our soldiers a real taste of Shabbat as well as a virtual hug from all of Am Yisrael.

Supporting Displaced Families

Since the tragedies of October 7th, tens of thousands of Israeli families have been uprooted from their homes and live in temporary accommodations. The needs of these families are tremendous. YI Israel has provided, and continues to provide, support to many of these families through special Tzedakah campaigns, as well as through sponsoring and arranging special activities/programs during these challenging times.

Helping Injured Soldiers and Their Families

Aside from the hundreds of IDF soldiers that have been killed in the current war, there are thousands of soldiers who were injured in battle. For these soldiers and their families, life will never be the same, with many facing months and years of rehab. YI Israel partners with local organizations to provide emotional, social, and financial support to these soldiers and their families. We also help arrange for visiting groups to meet and lend crucial support to these heroes.
