Shechter Institute Rabbinical Students Hear From Dr. Levmore
An hour and a half lecture was presented to the Rabbinical Students of the Shechter Institute by the director of 
the IYIM Agunah & Get-Refusal Project, Dr. Rachel Levmore. In the lecture, Dr. Levmore analyzed the legal and halakhic basis which give rise to the agunah problem in Israel. From there an in-depth explanation was given to the prenuptial Agreement for Mutual Respect — thus training the future rabbis in the presentation and explanation of the prenuptial agreement for the prevention of get-refusal, when officiating at marriages. It was an interactive session as points were questioned and clarified.
