Women's Leadership Training Summit
MASA of the Jewish Agency asked the director of the IYIM Agunah and Get-Refusal Prevention Program, Dr. Rachel Levmore, to participate in a lengthy and complex panel presentation to a Women’s Leadership Training Summit. Dr. Levmore played a double role—first introducing the 25 participants to the complex situation of Jewish marriage and divorce, particularly in the State of Israel where democracy meets Jewish Law. Secondly, Dr. Levmore demonstrated in multiple ways how she rose to the challenge of fixing a system from within, thus affecting change. The response of the organizers was: ”The day was phenomenal.
