Tahel conference
The director of the IYIM Agunah and get-Refusal Prevention Project, Dr. Rachel Levmore, was requested to make a presentation at the International Tahel Conference in Jerusalem. Professionals in the field of family abuse within the Jewish communities attended from all over the world, including Argentina, England, the US, France etc. Dr. Levmore spoke about the prevention of get-refusal—as the most severe manifestation of wife abuse, and its prevention through the prenuptial Agreement for Mutual Respect. She also described activism of IYIM which promotes the spread of the agreements such as the Postnuptial Signing Parties held by IYIM to a great success and the ripple effect they cause.
