Nishmat Halakhic Advisors Program Hear from Dr. Levmore
An in-depth presentation was made to the students at the Nishmat Program for Halakhic Advisors by Dr. Rachel 
Levmore, director of the IYIM Agunah and Get-Refusal Prevention Project. These women will be tasked to answer questions in Jewish law posed by women about to be married or married. As they have the skills to understand the workings of Jewish law, they were introduced to the “Agreement for Mutual Respect” for the prevention of get-refusal after a detailed background of the problem of get-refusal in Israel and abroad, continuing with an analysis of the mechanism of the agreement through the lens of Jewish law. Due to the fact that upon graduation, these women will become leaders in their communities, the director tasked them with increased fervor to lead all the couples that marry under their auspices, to the signing of the Agreement for Mutual Respect.
