Dr. Levmore teaches the young women of Matan
A lengthy, in-depth study session and lecture was presented to 60 students of the Bnei Akiva Women’s American 
Overseas Program of Study in Matan in Jerusalem — by director of the IYIM Agunah and Get-Refusal Prevention Project, to’enet rabbanit, Dr. Rachel Levmore. Following an extensive background study of the Jewish divorce law sources, the students learned about the Israeli prenuptial Agreement for Mutual Respect and the American “halachic prenup” of the Beth Din of America and the combination version – thus preparing them all to continue to educate all with whom they come into contact and to see themselves responsible to ensure that every marrying couple they know signs one of these prenuptial agreements.
