The Berman synagogue in Rechovot requested of Dr. Rachel Levmore, director of the IYIM Agunah and Get-Refusal Prevention Project to deliver a special lecture: “Attempts of the Rabbinical Court to Resolve Get Refusal and the Agreement for Mutual Respect”. The participants filled the room while fully-engaged during the hour and a half presentation, followed by a lively question and answer session. There is no doubt that this particularly sensitive group will carry the message on of agunah and get-refusal prevention thorugh the signing of prenuptial agreements.
