Dr Levmore Featured in Beit Hillel “Ask the Rabbanit” Project
The most difficult question for a believing Jew, especially a Jewess, is how does the halakha allow men to chain a woman, take away her personal freedom, through get-refusal. Dr. Rachel Levmore, director of the IYIM Agunah and Get-Refusal Prevention Project, was asked that very question by an Orthodox woman through the Beit Hillel Meshivat Nefesh “Ask the Rabbanit” Responsa Project.
