Dr Levmore captivates the Israeli Bar Association

Dr. Rachel Levmore, director of the IYIM Agunah & Get-Refusal Prevention Project was invited to speak at the Israel Bar Association, Jerusalem District,on the eve of Hoshana Rabba, 5780.

In an extraordinary evening of the highest-level intellectual study of Torah and Israeli Law, Dr. Rachel Levmore, director of the IYIM Agunah & Get-Refusal Prevention Project was invited to speak at the Israel Bar Association, Jerusalem District,on the eve of Hoshana Rabba, 5780.
 
Registration was filled within 17 hours of publication of the event. Dr. Levmore’s presentation followed that of a President of an Israeli University and preceded one of a Nobel Prize Winner. Other speakers included a member of the Israeli High Rabbinical Court, a Civil Court Judge, Professors, and a representative of Israel’s Ministry of Justice. To a full house, Dr. Rachel Levmore, To’enet Rabbanit, IYIM, presented: “Prenuptial Agreements for the Prevention of Get-Refusal: Awarding the Status of a Ruling in the Rabbinical Court – Halakhah in Practice”.
 
Jerusalem’s top-rate attorneys studied the examples of the prenuptial agreements Dr. Levmore brought before them, probing her knowledge and experience to understand the development of the Agreement of Mutual Respect in depth.
