Dr. Rachel Levmore, the director of the IYIM Agunah & Get-Refusal Prevention Project, was personally invited to attend a lecture arranged by the Ministry of Justice in matters of Jewish law: “Judicial discretion in a judgment of compromise”, presented by Prof. Yuval Sinai. Dr. Levmore entered into a discussion with him regarding private Rabbinical Courts and their use of judicial discretion, with several Civil Court Judges contributing their opinions
