Dr. Rachel Levmore, the director of the YI Agunah & Get-Refusal Prevention Project, participated in a meeting of the Knesset Committee on Special National Infrastructure Initiatives and Jewish Religious Services. The discussion centered on the appointments of Municipal Rabbis, specifically the appointment process and the lack of Municipal Rabbis. As Municipal Rabbis fulfill the legal function of Marriage Registrars, Dr. Levmore found it of great importance to participate and contributed to the discussion.
