The Knesset Law and Constitution Committee invites Dr. Levmore

The director of the IYIM Agunah and Get-Refusal Prevention Project, Dr. Rachel Levmore, received an invitation to a meeting of the Knesset Law and Constitution Committee in its discussion of the proposed amendment to the law appointing the members of the Commission for the Appointment of Dayanim הצעת חוק הדיינים (תיקון מס’ 30), התשפ”א–2021. Under discussion was the appointment of two female rabbinical court advocates to the Commission which made Dr. Levmore’s participation (remotely due to Covid) very relevant as she is the first female rabbinical court advocate appointed by law to the  Commission for the Appointment of Dayanim.
