Dorot Fellows hear from Dr. Levmore
A lengthy presentation was made to this year’s cohort of Dorot Fellows — a full year leadership training program for young leaders of Jewish communities in the US. Dr. Rachel Levmore, director of the IYIM Agunah and Get-Refusal Prevention Project, spoke about the balance of democracy and Jewish tradition, tradition and pluralism—demonstrating how this project related to all these components. The young women and men were inspired and sensitized to the needs of other Jews—even if not from their own communities.
