Dr. Levmore participates in meeting Knesset Law and Constitution Committee

The director of the YI Agunah and Get-Refusal Prevention Project, Dr. Rachel Levmore, participated in a meeting of the Knesset Law and Constitution Committee in its discussion of the so called “Diaspora Agunot Law”. Originally legislated for a limited period of time, it is overdue for either renewal and emendation and full legislation as a permanent law. The discussion was lengthy and complex but will lead to its proper legislation.
