Dr. Levmore invited to the Knesset Committee

Thanks to the ongoing work of Dr. Rachel Levmore with Members of Knesset, the IYIM Agunah & Get-Refusal Prevention Project, is invited regularly to Knesset Committee meetings of several different committees. The latest invitation came from the Constitution, Law & Justice Committee. Dr. Levmore attended the session discussing a proposed amendment to the child’s custody law – הצעת חוק הכשרות המשפטית והאפוטרופסות – which would give security to divorcing parents that both would be equal in the eyes of the law in relation to receiving updated information from daycare centers regarding their children. This is a contribution to dousing the fires of controversy in divorce and thus a contribution of the minimization of get-refusal.
