Givat Hamatar Community Enthralled by Dr Levmore
Dr. Rachel Levmore, director of the IYIM Agunah and Get-Refusal Prevention Project, delivered a lecture to the community of Givat Hatamar in Efrat. The subject: ”Appointing Rabbinical Court Judges: From Day of Yore to the Reality of our Times”. The presentation informed the participants as to the effect the appointment of Rabbinical Court Judges has on the lives of all Jewish citizens of Israel in matters of marriage and divorce. The audience was so captivated that the ensuing questions and discussion continued until very late in the evening, with remarks such as “This was absolutely fascinating!”
