Dr. Levmore Speaks at Evening Event in Boston
Dr. Rachel Levmore, the director of the IYIM Agunah and Get-Refusal Prevention Project, was asked to speak at an evening event of the Boston Agunah Taskforce. As the chairwoman of the task-force later wrote, “It was eye-opening and inspiring evening.” Dr. Levmore spent several hours explaining the legalities of divorce in Israel, the legal framework of the Rabbinical Court system and how Americans can make use of it in order to solve specific agunah cases.
