Dr. Levmore Takes Steps for Agunah Prevention at the Knesset
At a Knesset meeting of the Constitution, Law and Justice Committee, the director of the IYIM Project for the Prevention of Agunot and Get-Refusal, Dr. Rachel Levmore, submitted a position paper prepared by this project. The paper was published and taken into account by a special session of the committee, on Dec. 18, 2018, regarding a proposed amendment to law, in order to grant the State Rabbinical Courts power to publish names and photos of those determined to be get-refusers, on the internet and social media.
