We undertake this mission via enriching programming that empower our participants to strengthen their Jewish identity, their family unit, and their contribution to Israeli society and the Jewish Nation.

This past Shabbat, Young Israel in Israel partnered with the organization הביתה - חיבור זה כל הסיפור to host a special Shabbaton for five Anglo olim communities at the pastoral Achuzat Ohalo Hotel along the Kinneret. Over sixty families participated, representing the communities of Carmei Zion (Carmei Gat), Hashiveinu (Ramot), Ahavat Shalom (Caesarea), Mishkan Shilo (Ramat Beit Shemesh), and Young Israel of Neve Aliza (Karnei Shomron). The inspiring weekend featured sichot and shiurim with guest scholar-in-residence Rav Judah Mischel, a spirited Kabbalat Shabbat and musical Havdala led by Rav Shalom Weisberg of Kehillat Ahavat Shalom (Caesarea), and a lively parsha chidon for children with Rav Shalom Gold of Young Israel of Neve Aliza. It was a wonderful opportunity for families to relax, reconnect with their own communities, and forge meaningful connections with other Anglo olim communities across Israel.
