Rabbi Yonatan Udren is Co-Director of the RRG Beit Midrash Program, which provides a spiritual home for hundreds of English-speaking olim and overseas students in Jerusalem. Originally from Fort Lauderdale, Florida, he received rabbinical ordination from Yeshivat Hamivtar under Rabbi Shlomo Riskin and holds an MA in English Creative Writing from Bar-Ilan University. Rabbi Udren has taught widely in both formal and informal settings in Israel and the United States. He was on the faculty at Yeshivat Orayta and Aardvark Israel, and has also served as a scholar-in-residence at synagogues across the U.S., teaching Torah and inspiring diverse Jewish communities. His teaching focuses on Jewish thought, aggadah, Chassidut, and Jewish mysticism. Rabbi Udren lives in Beit El with his wife, Dena, and their five children.
