Rabbi Joel Kenigsberg serves as the rabbi of Beit Knesset Hanassi in Jerusalem, where he had the privilege of working alongside Rabbi Berel Wein zt”l. He is known for his engaging style and high-level shiurim, particularly on halacha, technology, and the interface between Torah and the modern world. Born in South Africa, Rabbi Kenigsberg made Aliyah to Israel and studied at Yeshivat HaKotel, where he also served in the IDF through the Hesder program, and later continued his studies at Eretz Hemdah. He was a member of the inaugural cohort of the Manhigut Toranit program and today serves as its assistant director, mentoring the next generation of rabbinic leaders. He is also on the editorial team of the English edition of Tzurba m’Rabanan, helping to make advanced halachic learning accessible to English-speaking audiences worldwide. Rabbi Kenigsberg and his family spent four years on shlichut in London, where he served as rabbi of the Magen Avot community and as Rav Shaliach of Bnei Akiva UK. He holds a Master’s degree in Science and Halacha from Bar-Ilan University and lectures widely on Torah, science, and contemporary issues.
