Rabbi Josh Kanter is an engaging teacher and speaker who has been sharing Torah and inspiring communities for over 20 years. He has delivered shiurim, drashot, and classes at shuls across the United States and Israel, including Or Torah in Skokie, Beth Tfiloh in Baltimore, and Shirat David in Efrat. In Israel, he has taught at leading yeshivot and seminaries such as Yeshivat Orayta, Yeshivat HaKotel, Midreshet HaRova, and Machon Maayan. Known for his ability to connect Torah to people’s lives in a thoughtful and relatable way, Rabbi Kanter has also created community learning initiatives, including the Family Beit Midrash at Shirat David, which brought together more than 75 families for intergenerational Torah study and communal growth. In addition to teaching, Rabbi Kanter has held leadership roles in Jewish education and community organizations, giving him a broad perspective on the challenges and opportunities facing Jewish life today. He is currently Director of Development at Yeshivat Orayta. Rabbi Kanter speaks in both English and Hebrew and brings warmth, humor, and depth to every talk, making Torah come alive for audiences of all ages.
